Mini Research Proposal

This Mini Research Proposal, titled The Golden Ratio: The Impact of Observation, Demonstration, and Feedback on Cognitive Load and Performance in Dog Training Skills, was developed for my Theoretical and Cognitive Foundations of Learning Sciences course and proposes an experimental study investigating the optimal ratio of instructional methods for skill-based adult learning. I selected this artifact because it sits at the heart of my professional intention — bridging my background as an educator of professional dog trainers with the evidence-based research skills I developed in the program. This proposal demonstrates my ability to translate real-world instructional challenges into a rigorous, theoretically grounded research design.
