Design Document

This Instructional Design Document, developed collaboratively with my team for Design of Performance and Instructional Systems, presents a comprehensive design blueprint for a mobile app called New Leash on Life. This app serves as a learning management system for a three-course learning experience designed to help new dog guardians ease the transition for their newly adopted dogs and ultimately reduce the alarming rate at which dogs are returned to shelters within their first six months in a home. I selected this artifact because it demonstrates my ability to apply the full ADDIE design process with intention. From a detailed learner analysis with three nuanced learner avatars, task analysis, learning objectives, and evidence-based instructional strategies, our group worked collaboratively to fulfill both human and canine learner needs.
