LT 7150 Analysis of Performance and Instructional Systems

This Cost-Benefit Analysis, completed for my Analysis of Performance and Instructional Systems class, evaluates three proposed solutions to an inconsistency in student skill assessment experiences at the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior. This artifact demonstrates my ability to apply front-end analysis, quantitative reasoning, and data-driven decision-making to a genuine instructional design challenge. I selected this artifact because it exemplifies the compassion pillar of my practice: before recommending a costly intervention, I conducted a thorough analysis and ultimately recommended gathering more data rather than spending prematurely, which reflects both fiscal responsibility and a deep respect for the client's context. This assignment pushed me to think beyond course development and consider the full ecosystem of an organization — brand reputation, opportunity costs, and learner experience — reinforcing that effective instructional design requires as much business acumen as andragogical knowledge.
